It’s been 4 months since my last blog post, and quite a while since I posted an updated market conditions report or refreshed my Favorites lists. Over the past month I’ve received quite a few emails from long time followers of my website asking if I’m OK and that they miss the posts and updates on the Sullivan County real estate market.
So I just wanted to post a quick update about what’s been up with me the last few months, with a reassurance that I’m OK and hopefully will be back in the online saddle at my regular pace very soon. The fall selling season here was frenzied, and keeping on top of buyer inquiries and deals in process took all of the available oxygen, and there wasn’t much left for things like website updates. Usually things settle in early December through the holidays, but not last year. I started secretly wishing for bad weather.
I’ve also had a few health issues over the past couple of months. Nothing that major or life threatening, but enough to zap my usual high energy. My whole adult life I’ve been like the Energizer Bunny, so running out of gas before I’ve finished what I planned to do has been a new experience for me. I’ve had to do some tough triage, prioritizing clients and sidelining some community involvements and personal interests. The good news is that the health stuff is moving in the right direction. The health stuff is moving in the right direction. Also in January there was a passing in my immediate family.
Thanks to those of you who’ve sent emails asking if I’m OK, and also thanks to my colleagues who’ve helped pick up some slack over the last month or so,
