Tis the season for lake buyers looking for houses on motorboat lakes to rev up their search. (April and May tend to be the big months for motorboat lake shoppers, while non-motorboat lake shopping picks up later in the summer.) Last April, when someone looking for a house on a motorboat lake in a moderate price range would contact me, I’d almost cringe, because there was almost nothing available. This year the picture is somewhat brighter. There are about a half dozen motorboat lake houses on the market from the upper $200’s to the low $400’s, and I expect some more to come to market over the next month as listing season picks up. That’s not a huge selection, but definitely more than we had a year ago.
I’ve pulled together the current motorboat lake listings in this range (as of April 3) in the slideshow with this post. To see the listings, you can click on an individual house as it scrolls through or click here to see all of them. Some are small and some may need some work, but they all get you directly on a motorboat lake with your own dock at a price that doesn’t break the bank.
